Motor Friendly Settlement Claim

The conditions for an amicable settlement are as follows:

1. Both companies involved (culpable & unculpable) should be part of the Friendly settlement scheme.
2. The Friendly Agreement applies to more than two vehicles, provided that the fault is clear and that a settlement is possible for both vehicles.
3. The Friendly Agreement applies when both involved drivers have completed and signed the Friendly Declaration or even an informal Friendly Declaration, as long as the parties involved agree on the part of the Agreement.
4. The Friendly Agreement does not apply if the two vehicles have not come into contact and one of the two has been damaged.
5. An accident caused by a load or by a leak of liquids or gases of any nature used for the operation of an involved vehicle or by a component that was detached from an involved vehicle, even if there is no collision between the two involved vehicles, falls within the scope of this Agreement.
6. The agreed limits for compensation for material damage and personal injury are considered to be the following amounts:

           i) For compensation for material damage, €6,500.

          ii) For compensation for personal injury, €30,000 for each accident in total and with a maximum limit per injured person of €12,000.

In the event of an accident involving a collision between more than two vehicles, the applicable limit for material damage is applied per settlement between the two.
