ANNOUNCEMENT BY EUROINS GREECE REGARDING EUROINS ROMANIA

Athens, 17 March 2023 – Euroins Greece assures its customers and partners that there is absolutely no impact on its operation from the developments in the well-known dispute between Romanian regulators and Euroins Romania.
The parent company of Euroins Greece, Euroins Bulgaria AD, also continues its development path without interruption, which is confirmed by its strong economic fundamentals. It is noted that in the financial year 2022, it recorded a turnover of 231,916 million euros (+32% vs. 2021).
In support of the above, the Financial Supervisory Commission (FSC) of Bulgaria announced today that Euroins Romania does not carry out insurance activity in Bulgaria and that the decision of the Romanian supervisory authority does not affect policyholders of the Bulgarian insurance companies of Euroins Insurance Group AD. It also assures that, as a result of the supervision exercised by the FSC, no problems concerning the solvency of the individual companies of the Euroins Insurance Group AD group, or the Group as a whole have been identified.
At Group level, Eurohold today issued the following announcement: "All Eurohold subsidiaries and businesses with a presence in the 11 countries where we operate, with the exception of Romania, will continue to operate smoothly with the aim of serving customers and fulfilling their obligations in accordance with their business plans for the current year. Regarding the decision of the supervisory authority in Romania against Euroins Romania, the Group has already initiated legal proceedings against the decision in the competent European and international courts."
