EUROINS GREECE: STRENGTHENING CORPORATE GOVERNANCE WITH A NEW MANAGEMENT STRUCTURE

Athens, 19 December 2023 – Euroins Greece announces the change of its management structure, aiming to further strengthen corporate governance in line with modern ESG standards.

As of 29 November 2023, Athanasios I. Smyrnis and Vasil G. Dimitrov have been appointed Branch Managers of Greece. Both Mr. Smyrnis and Mr. Dimitrov previously held the position of Deputy Director of the Greek branch of Insurance Company Euroins AD.

In the context of the above changes in the management structure of the Greek branch, a Senior Executive Committee was established, headed by the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Insurance Company Euroins AD, Mrs. Yoanna Tsoneva and their members, Mr. Smyrnis and Mr. Dimitrov. The objective of the new management body is the strategic planning and monitoring of Euroins Greece's objectives based on the operating model and policies of Insurance Company Euroins AD.

Mr. Smyrnis stated: "The Company remains committed to modern corporate governance principles by making the necessary adjustments in order to further strengthen its corporate structure. Our goal is to strengthen Euroins' presence in the Greek market through a comprehensive range of products and services that consistently and reliably meet the needs of our policyholders."

Mr. Dimitrov said: "Euroins Greece is part of a strong insurance company with a leading position in the European markets where it is present. Our primary goal is the stable and reliable presence next to our customers and people with an eye to the future trends and needs of the insurance market in Greece and internationally".
