Athens, 19 November 2024 – Euroins Greece was honored with an award for its overall contribution to the Organization "The Smile of the Child" in the framework of the anniversary event for the 29 years of operation of "The Smile of the Child".
The award was presented by the President of "The Smile" Mr. Costas Yannopoulos to the General Manager Mrs. Angeliki Mouratidou, who confirmed the Company's support to the actions of the Organization, actively contributing to the awareness and engagement of the private sector in the great social work it offers to the country.
It is noted that Euroins, in the context of the extensive Corporate Responsibility program implemented in Greece, continuously supports "The Smile" throughout the 10 years of its presence in our country. Last spring, the Company extended its sponsorship support by fully undertaking the insurance of the Organization's fleet of 140 vehicles for the current year.
At the event, a total of 17 companies were awarded, which have consistently and steadfastly supported the vision served by the Organization and its staff - scientists, volunteers, and employees - daily, 24 hours a day. In its 29 years of operation, "Smile" has actively contributed to supporting 2.2 million children and families.
Upon receiving the award, Ms. Mouratidou stated: "We are particularly delighted to be here today, among the beautiful family of supporters of 'Smile'. The significant effort made by the founder of the Organization, Mr. Giannopoulos, moves us all as it has made us embrace responsibility."
Mr. Giannopoulos stated: "For each person present here today, I have something unique to say about their disposition, participation, and spirit. Euroins has been by our side for 10 years now, providing comprehensive insurance coverage for the fleet of vehicles of 'The Smile' organization, and for that, we sincerely thank them. Thanks to their trust, 'The Smile of the Child' is the only organization, whether public or private, that operates 24/7, including weekends, holidays, and serves as the umbrella for 10 Action Centers, all while maintaining its commitment to serving the institutions of the state. Thanks to their support, 'The Smile' provided solutions for over 100,000 children and their families last year, further strengthening its corporate governance."
