Euroins Greece sponsors Panachaiki Basketball

Athens, January 25, 2024 – Euroins Greece expands its corporate responsibility actions in our country by sponsoring the Basketball Team of Panachaiki Athletic Union.

Starting in January 2024, Euroins' sponsorship includes the men's basketball team – which competes in the Third National Division, as well as the youth and junior teams.

Panachaiki Athletic Union is the most recognized club in Achaia and counts more than 130 years of significant activity in the field of sports. A total of 150 athletes compete in the basketball department, including 135 children.

The Director of Euroins Greece, Athanasios I. Smyrnis, stated: "Our Company remains committed to the Environment-Society-Governance (ESG) triptych, expanding its corporate responsibility actions with an emphasis on sports. Achaia is a key pillar of Euroins' presence in Greece, and, with this new action, we confirm our support to the local communities of the region."

The President of Panachaiki Athletic Union Mr. Panagiotis Semitekolos stated: "Panachaiki team and the strong Insurance Group EUROINS join forces as two big brands.
